![]() Midas5 and Hobo If you have done a complete factory reset of your PC using the recovery disk it came with then all previous info and data will have been deleted because the "reset" action reformats the HD. When I first got my PC I had to do a "factory reset" on it because the preinstalled applications (Windows XP, Norton Antivirus and firewall and a host of utilities) were not properly installed. So I was advised by PC World's help desk to do a "reset" using the recovery disk. The PC then goes through the process of reformatting the HD then reinstalling the apps from the hidden part of the HD. Hope this helps. UK Bob |
