![]() hello agian i ammmm sure i am posting in the wrong place but honestly i am not too sure its supposeadly a simple question i have lol i currently have comcast broadband and i have to rent this little blue box its been called both a router and a modem who knows lol but my question is my internet at times seems to lag alot and it really souldent so i was told that spending a 100 bucks to buy a new router/modem would definatly fix my problem is this just bs or is it possiably true? thanks agian for your time and paticence |

![]() Originalsillyguy You really should ask your ISP that question because they have a "preferred list" of equipment (modems, routers, etc.) and software (connection app, TCP configuration utility, etc) they recommend that you should use. UK Bob |
