Another option is to d/l the proper codec to play the various .avi files out there. It depends on the codec used to encode the video file. I use a nice little prepackaged codec suite from http://www.free-codecs.com/download...ck_All_in_1.htm and they all work in Windows Media Player with no problems. This package is mainly for .avi/Divx files. A nother good package is http://www.free-codecs.com/download/XP_Codec_Pack.htm that will play almost all video and audio formats. I haven't found a format I can't play now. |
