Sorry but I don't know that there's much you can really do. Did you save the link to your Pro personal download page (your husband might've saved it?) Have you still got the Pro installer somewhere on your computer?

Did you pay $US18.88 for LW Pro from www.limewire.com less than 6 months ago? Basic LW is free. If you paid for anything else then I'm afraid you got scammed.

If you did buy the legitimate Pro less than 6 months ago, you might find a link here to help but I think it's a long shot if you don't know the email address used to purchase

Thanks.I think he paid something like £32.00 in the end and its been working fine until recently.It still works to a degree but we cant find the save file and now this other msg keeps coming up. He wouldnt have saved anything coz he knows less than me about computers and I only know what I teach myself by messing around. Would I be better just re downloading the free version?

That was definitely a scam then, you might've even paid for the free version. It happens. How long ago did you buy & can you remember where from? If you bought fairly recently you may still be able to get your money back. Some info here

You can download the free version from the link in my last post. If you're happy & have no probs with it, you can always go for Pro later

Dont know what site he bought it off. He typed in i tunes on google and thats what he came up with. Although I know very little I did try to tell him to be careful what he was doing. I think it was over 6 months now. You def seem to know what you're doing. I'll try the link in the last post. Do I uninstall the old one? God I'm a pain!!!
