Performers used to do concerts in order to sell more records. Now that most of the record profits go to the talent-less corporations, performers make records in order to sell more concert tickets. They know that they won't make any money from record sales. That's why some peformers don't complain about p-p filesharing.
The industry needs to start thinking outside the shrinkwrap. So far, their methods have been as effective as Prohibition. There is a way for everyone to make money while allowing unrestricted p-p. |
