Does Limewire save searches and downloads in a file?

No. There is option under Tools -> Options -> Search, to remember recent searches, however this only applies to the present session & auto-complete or drop down option for previous search will show. However once LW is closed & the session expires, the searches are not stored anywhere within LW's document files.

The Downloads.dat file stores names & locations of incomplete files.

The Library.dat file stores names & locations of shared files.

If the Library window and shared window are blank then no files are being shared. Library normally shows files that have been downloaded.

So there is nothing I can find in LW then. That sucks but thanks for informing me.
