![]() I had already done this and was afraid the file would come back (as with deleting a preference folder and a new one is created when you restart the program). I started checking out all the LimeWire files. In the Lib folder, I trashed the "ads" folder and the "cookies.dat" file. Thought it might cause problems, but so far none to speak of. I'm assuming that the cookies file was the "spyware" (or a part of it)? Are there other files that are safe to delete that "spy"? Thanks. By the way, I'm running OS 9.1 on Mac G4 |
