I have all firewalls cut off, and limewire still isn't working?

Default I have all firewalls cut off, and limewire still isn't working?
I use limewire all the time but today it just messed up. I have limewire pro 4.18.8 and Vista. It always says "Starting Connection" and has a firewall over that icon. I have all my firewalls cut off!! Help please!

Im havin the same problem. Im gettin 1 green bar and 4 red bars. I think the older version was better and easier.

Hey guys, same issue here. I have doen the uninstall/reinstall, and had no luck. I also sent an inquiry for help to Limewire last week and never got a response.

Do you think it's an LimeWire problem or an computer problem like the firewall.

Actually after reading thru these threads, I completely removed anything that said limewire off of my computer, that way when you reinstall it takes U thru set up, and if you remove auto start up, it should work OK. mine is now. I use Windows XP and PRO good luck!

It worked!! I deleted all of my stuff and reinstalled. Thank you...that one guy, i forgot your name but thanks.

I am having the same problem. I can not connect. I am using limewire with OS Vista. I have uninstalled everything associated with limewire and reinstalled, i have restarted my computer a million times. Nothing is working.
