I have Netzero and LimeWire will not connect. I have tried everything I have found here so far with No luck! How can I find out if Netzero is blocking and if they are, what else can I do?
I am getting very frustrated! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! |

I can't find any reports so far that netzero is blocking. But ... that's not to say they aren't blocking or filtering.
Did you try the suggestion in the Sticky above in this section? |

Just got off the phone with NetZero. Couldn't get a straight answer if they were blocking/filtering p2p programs Or if they were blocking/filtering port 6346.
Geez they pratically want your first born male child to get any answers. They did finally get me through to there tech. support. One person did't know, The other person said no they don't block or filter port 6346, but would investigate and call me back. I'm not holding my breath

Don't know for sure if this will work, but try doing the bug report in this link.
http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...ght=bug+report Also if you have any antivirus or internet security programs they sometimes have firewall. I have Norton Internet Security which has a firewall and also WindowsXP sp2 has a firewall. (the later doesn't apply to you) Last edited by fabion; February 8th, 2005 at 11:34 AM. |
