I use Gnucleus for the following reasons.
1 Resumes partial downloads reliably 2 Flexibility - It lets you tinker with more settings 3 Open Source - nuff said 4 System friendly - People dont seem to complain about it screwing up Windows Reasons others may not want to use Gnucleus: 1 The latest version stinks - push is so broken, it just gives up trying. (V 1.3.5 was good, just dont let it evolve) 2 It crashes for some people, mostly Win2k it seems. I should add that I use Win2k and don't have any problems. 3 It's Not for dummies - no stinkin help files here |
