 it's cool to register in forums like this Why not? It's easy, and it gives a sense of friendliness and community to what otherwise feels pointlessly anonymous. I just registered after getting some really great advice from this site (from some unknown hero who was unregistered-thanks, masked man!). It seems like the right thing to do. I value my privacy but I think there's a big difference between obtrusive, manipulative snooping and the kind of community building that goes on at sites like this. In a nutshell, as they say.
