I'd been thinking. (Only if you have QuickTime Pro.) This is uncompressed audio which will take up considerable space. Alternatively with QuickTime Pro you have other options including importing mp3. There is also the option of saving the audio as Apple Lossless (ALE) but that would mean that some players might not have ALE playback support. ALE is almost equivalent to FLAC (Compressed Lossless audio reducing the file-size to around 65% compared to PCM.) My own tests years back suggested overall FLAC is slightly superior in compression but on odd occasions depending on the sound content ALE was able to compress a little better than FLAC. ALE has far superior ID3 tag support than FLAC though that's somewhat irrelevant unless you wish to add lyrics, descriptions and album art.

With QT Pro you can use a similar process to convert to either PCM/ALE as MPEG Streamcllp.

1. QT Export: Movie Maker or similar-1-export-via-quicktimepro.png . . 2. Type of file: Movie Maker or similar-2-qt-options.png . . 3. Default PCM: Movie Maker or similar-3-pcm.png

4. Choose options such as PCM or ALE: Movie Maker or similar-4-pcm-ale-option.png . . 5. ALE selection: Movie Maker or similar-5-applelossless-option.png

6. Summary of Sound settings: Movie Maker or similar-6-sound-applelossless.png

I forgot to note, it would be possible to create a slide-show using QT pro. A little tricky from memory but possible.
