Greetings! Missing Limewire :(

I'm afraid to download Limewire again due to virus' picked up recently. This lead me to clean up my computer and reinstall back to original hardware.
I'm wondering if AOL's virus software is adequate in stopping this from happening. Any info on this subject?
I sure do Miss my connection with Limewire!
