limewire will not stay up

it loads and then imedately closes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. I have also allowed in internet protection. how can i get it to work. 5.1.3

Thx for the tip Lord of the Rings. I was having the same problem and the fixes (tips 5 and 6) worked great!
