 Hi ebilogue, Sorry to say, but if you payed for a 'lifetime' subscription to LW then you've been scammed. Did you pay for LW Pro? LW basic is free. Who did you pay for LW? I think you might be getting confused with the LW Store. That's available for the US only. LW can still connect to the Gnutella network & allow downloads from other Gnutella users. The only official site for downloading LW basic (free) or Pro (costs $) is Official Website & Free Download - Lime Wire The official site offers 3 kinds of Pro. 1. Extended Pro costs $34.95 & entitles you to 12 months worth of email tech support & free updates. 2. Pro costs $21.95 & entitles you to 6 months worth of email tech support & free updates. For some reason this option is really well hidden - hopefully LW aren't trying to 'suggest' to people that the only Pro option is Extended Pro... that would be quite shitful  When you click to buy Pro, you'll see 'change term' under Purchase Summary.  Click on 'change term' & you'll now see the option to download Pro for 6 months.  3. And another option that's a bit hidden - if you go to LW's forum page & click on 'Download' you'll see the option to buy a Pro version that doesn't include any email support or updates. Just a one-off purchase of the current version.  If you've been scammed then please read the 2 threads below  Membership? - **BEWARE** - Download p2p Clients ONLY Thru Official Sites (click on link) get your $$$ BACK!!! (music members)  |
