I'd suggest this: Try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included 2nd last post of page.) But make sure you back up the Downloads(.dat) file.

To find where your files are presently, right-click on any of the audio files in your library and choose Locate on Disk. This will take you directly to where the files are stored.

I'm guessing you may have accidentally changed the location of where your LW downloads are sent to. Setting Transfer location to default might fix this via LW's tools menu -> Options -> Transfers, however deleting the LW preferences will also have same effect.

Eek problems with limewire playlist

Thank you so much, "lord of the Rings" for all the advice you gave me in trying to solve my problem. I printed out the whole manual of Limewire and I have tried to follow the directions you gave me. But there are two ( slight..) problems I face and these are that I haven't got a clue about where to find the folders in my computer ( I even use Total Commander..) and whilest trying I thought I saved my load of music from Limewire and deleted the file of Limewire completely and installed it again.....result:
My mysic is all gone. As the instructions are all in English and I use the Dutch version of Windows7 it is difficult for hopeless computer user with no explicite knowlegde of maps, resetting faults etc. to solve this particular ( perhaps simple) change in LW. Like another member also said, I must have hit a wrong button on my keyboard once by mistake but correcting this takes me more than three weeks now and none of my pals know how to change this either and believe me, I have tried everything even with the manual next to me last night.....looks like it becomes an obsession by now..but I won't give up. Still I am stuck with that @###$###^&&&%%^$%#@ Playlist ...I have searched the net too, but everytime I get directed to this forum (thank God).
Perhaps you know another way? By assistance via Teamviewer5 perhaps?
Many thanks all for your help so far and I will hang the Dutch flag out if the problem is finally solved...that's a promise ( and illegal besides on special occasions here in The Netherlands.
Greetings to you all,
Ruud
