Hey peeps! I need help PLS!

Hey all. Hows it going?? I myself am so frustrated and angry it's retarded. I have been a PC user all my life. I finally made the switch to a Mac, it's a Mac 10.4.11 and I am still trying to get the hang of it.
A "friend" was here and I was preoccupied w my 9 month old & realized after he'd left he downloaded Limewire. But it was GREAT!! Loved it! Until yesterday when the very same person came over to help w watching my little one, and to my dismay when I came home (of course AFTER he left) he freaking erased it somehow trying to download Limewire 5 I think it it's name. Well my Mac isn't compatible. I tried EVERYTHING I know and am screwed. Can anyone help me? 'And I'm afraid to admit I'll need it in lamens terms!!
