I have tried to install 4.1.5 and 4.0.8 and neither will open for me. I have also updated my Java software to the most current version. When I try to open LimeWire the following log file is created in the LimeWire directory:

If you have any suggestions how to fix this problem I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!!!

did you try to reinstall java and limewire completly (deleting the folder of limewire and java in program files, deleting the .limewire folder search for it) did you also try redownloading both programs,

hope these tips solve your problem!

I have already tried those suggestions to no avail. Any further tips would be much appreciated. I have also tried executing the .jar file and that failed as well...

did you try putting in the windows cd and selecting repair?
if it doesn't work you might want to completly reinstalling windows but that's an extreme. i hope someone else will come allong and suggest something else but I doubt there would be any other ways...
