Uninstalled LW 4.4.4 through the control pannell/remove programs. Then realized that I still have LW v4.2.3 in my C:/Program files with NO option to uninstall. Is this a problem?
Should I just re-install 4.4.4? My firewall preferences are set to UPnP (reccomended) under tools in LW. |

LW 4.2.3 should be able to be removed using the Add/Remove Programs control panel. Do you mean the option is not there?

The LW 4.2.3 is in my C:/Porgram Files and no where to be found in my control panel add/delete. That doesn't make any sense to me, is there another way to remove it? Does it need to be removed before I reinstall 4.4.4?

I think LW 4.4.4 will detect it & uninstall it for you during the installation process.
![]() LW 4.4 uses a different type of installer. It's just occured to me you may have installed the international installer version & not the english one. The only differences were the different type of installer & the international one installed Java 1.3 & enforced LW to use it. If it is this version, then you would find an uninstaller in the LW program folder. Java 1.3 is out of date now & you'd be much better updating to 4.4 & updating your Java if you haven't already.
