![]() Have tried all the suggestions and nothing works.. there is no repair option in add/remove programs, just remove. I have uninstalled java and reinstalled both suggested versions. I have uninstalled Lime and reinstalled. Absolutly nothing works. Not a good start for a program that is ment to be so advanced and I was going to buy it also.. I am dam glad I tried the free version first. |

![]() Yep, re-installing Norton IS did the trick for me. LOTR, thank you very much for you help. I still don't really understand it, (because I'd already added Limewire to the list of programs with permission to access the internet), but then again I don't really care anymore: LIMEWIRE WORKS AGAIN! |

![]() I tried installing the java app you suggested, LOTR, and it installed successfully. However, i am still having a problem running LimeWire. I'll double click it, and the hourglass will appear for varying amounts of time between 3 to 10 seconds, and then dissappear and the computer will go back to what it was doing as if nothing had happened. Any further insight into this problem from any of you is greatly appreciated. |
