 Go to add/remove programs & remove your old Java version. Now reinstall Java JRE & make sure that you use the manual (offline) installer. http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp Now reinstall LW using it's offline installer http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml See if that fixes things   |

| It is freezing after the firewall permissions page, it never goes on to the last two steps. I am running Zone Alarm but Limwire has full permissions. If I exit the set up and right click on the shortcut and choose run, it says that my installation is corrupt, files missing and I need to reinstall. |
