 Hi Sgt After reading what you had to say about P2P problems, I am doubly glad I had a copy of LW 4.8.1. I stashed it in a CD for safekeeping. What happened was that when I booted LW 4.8.1 there was a popup saying that an update was available. It looked perfectly normal so I decided to go with the update, which went smoothly. Then it wouldn't search. I think I'll leave LW 4.9.23 alone for now and try to monitor the matter. I will check out peerguardian 2. Thanks a lot for your interest and assistance. Alfred Bowman  |
