![]() Ok... i did almost everything i saw on these boards. I downloaded Java RE, both 1.42 and 1.5, online and offline versions. I installed limewire multiple times both online and offline. I did the thing with the deleting of the preferences folder. For some reason i cant get it past the loading/bootup "screen" before the program intiates. I check the task manager and Limewire.exe isnt even found. I tried using Frostwire, and the same exact thing happened. Frostwire records startup and other errors and recorded some wierd tech jumbo but it points toward Java as the problem. I dont know how to get around this, can someone help me out? |

![]() I recently reformatted, so i had to re-download and re-update everything. I am pretty sure Limewire worked with my antivirus/spyware progs because they were fine when i used the before the format... in any case, yes i did check that before anyway. I turned off all of my spyware/virus blockers and even the firewall. I got nadda. Aaron: How do you scrub out all traces of Java? |
