Limewire Will not open

I am having trouble opening limewire. I have downloaded the current version and have even unistalled and reinstalled limewire. But, everytime I click on the limewire icon, I get nothing , no error message, no nothing.

Try uninstalling Java by going to Start/Control Panel/Add Remove Programs and uninstall versions of Java. Go to the link below and get Java choose the offline installer and save it to your desk top. After the download has completed install Java then install LimeWire.

I have Java2SE 5.0 upd11 installed and after that downloaded limewire. Limewire did not open.
I had Java 6 on my comp previously ( latest version ). lime did not open with
Java 6 alone. So now i have the two versions. Must i delete Java 6 and will lime than open ???
Can anyone help please.

Java6 has exit,opened limewire before. suddenly i got this message.
