Your version will have been LW 4.8.1 then which was a very good version. If necessary I can send you another copy.

What version Java are you using?

Try these things:

1. Remove all versions of Java using your Add/Remove Control panel. Then reinstall using Java 1.5 Offline installer; Java 1.5 (take the JRE). I am not sure how it handles with Java 1.6, & some pro users had problems with Java 1.6

2. Since you are installing "Offline", turn all firewalls, all antivirus, all anti-spyware, etc. off whilst you install LW.

3. "If" it installs fine. Make sure you add LW to clearance on your Firewall & put on safety list of anti spyware soft. etc.
