Thank you thank you! This worked. I deleted the hidden folder LimeWire, then I uninstalled all my Java's/JRE's and installed the 5.11 offline version, and voila. Limewire works like a charm again! Though it has a new skin -

In the older versions of limewire the preference folder is called the .limewire folder...
In the newer versions it is called the LimeWire Folder and it is hidden...
The instructions to find both of these folders are in this thread...

I noticed that you are running Java 6.1, there have been a few members that have had trouble with this update...
Uninstall your Java from the add/remove programs and then re-install the JRE 5.11 offline version....(4th one down)
