try this link as it's helped out a few vista users (Vista Limewire Fix Once And For All) -- If that does not help with your problem try deleting your limewire folder (Preference folder)

(Fixes for Limewire when LW isn't operating as it should)

I have Windows Vista Home Premium. I was running LW quite successfully for the longest time. I uninstalled a Registry fixer that crashed my computer. I thought I had everything back to normal, but when I went to reinstall LW, it never gets past "Step 4". I tried many times but to no avail. Am I doing something wrong or did I misconfigure something somewhere? Please, HELP! :bangh:
