I appear to have some virus which is not allowing me to close Limewire or any programs running in the sytem tray. Taskmanager does not work. As such, when I try to download Pro I am told to close the open LW program.

Can anyone help?

Has your antivirus program identified it as a virus if so what's it called -- if you haven't done a full / complete scan I suggest you do so now but first update the latest antivirus signatures for your system -- if after your scan nothing is found do an online scan with one of these in this link by LOTR: (http://www.gnutellaforums.com/open-d...uld-aware.html) also read through the article -- if your problem still remains after doing all of this I suggest you go to this link (BleepingComputer.com - Computer Help Forums) they are experts in getting rid of viruses & malware -- it's free registration just like limewire -- please be patient as they are very busy.
