![]() I have used LW in past, am now installing as new on Compaq s4200NX with XP. Installing latest 4.18.8 Free LW version. I've done this 5-6 times, keep getting the same problam. It installs, but when I try to open it to use, it brings me to the Limewire setup wizard, I accept the default settings and click next. Then a page opens that says Miscellaneous settings at the top, I also want to accept these and move on, but there is not a button to click to accept, or go elsewhere. It just sits there until I hav to X out to close it. Any ideas?? |

[1] Grab the bottom corner of the window with your cursor and move it down until you see the buttons OR [2] It could be a compatibility problem -- Right click on your LW icon (desktop) Properties -> Compatibility -> Compatibility mode -> click on the box Run this program in compatibility mode for: -> scroll down to NT -> OK Note: Use NT even though you are using windows XP OR [3] Normal font size must be used or Install won't work -- to choose Font size in Windows XP Home, right click on an empty part of the desktop -- Choose Properties, Appearance, Font size -- Select Normal Hopefully 1 of the above will fix your problem
