limewire problems

Ok i had lime wire for the last 3 upgrades and they all worked the last time i had a file that i downlaoded and then went to go delete it on it wouldn;t delete so i uninstalled imewire that way it would delete the file buti was off my computer for 3 weeks and tehn turn it on and get this new download and it as connected once but thats it the only new thin gon my computer is a replaced avast wit avg and thats it so wat do i need to do get the old download or wat i really llike limewire.
