Please check in your control panel --> Add or Remove Programs
to see that you only have 1 java entry and not several -- if
you have more than 1 -- delete them then download the latest version
and re-install. Start up LW if still no good try my next fix
Your gnutella.net file could be corrupt so you will need to download
another one from here (
gnutella.net)
You must show all hidden files like so:- [1] Open windows explorer:- select Tools à Folder Options à View à Show hidden files and folders. [2] In windows explorer look for the Limewire Folder – go here:- c:\documents and settings\username\applications data\LimeWire (or) c:\documents and settings\username\limewire [3] Ensure that limewire is completely off - (check that it's not in the system tray) bottom right of yr computer - if it is right click on the LW icon select exit.
now open the .limewire folder and look for and delete the gnutella.net file 
[4] Now download a new version and save it to your desktop - [5] Drag the new gnutella.net file from your desktop into the limewire folder. [6] Close the LW Folder and start up Limewire Please let us know how you get on
