This is taking place for about a week. I did not change anything in my pc, I did not install any firewall, I did not mess with lime wire's settings but for a mysterious reason it won't connect. I read similar threads but they did not help at all. Anyways I am running on windows xp,
I have no firewall,
i have de-activated windows firewall,
i have a 6mbit/s connection and my internet provider surely does not block p2p connections cause I use effectively other p2p programs (u torrent for example)
Hi mino,I would suggest you enable your firewall for yr own protection on the internet -- having no firewall is like leaving the door open to yr home - In limewire Links (below) click on (If LW will not connect) and go through these fixes -- also check out (User Cant Connect - LimeWire) -- if yr problem still remains pse click on (system details) fill in as much as you can and post back here

Limewire links: (If LW 5 will not connect) (If LW 4 will not connect)(system details) (LW Clean Reinstallation Instructions) (setting up your firewall to accept LW)

LW links are changed at times to match the current problems.
