Thanks again for your help. I didn't upgrade simply because I did not know about it, so I tried to upgrade this morning to 10.2.6 (according to the Apple site, I can't upgrade from 10.2.5 to 10.2.8, I first have to install 10.2.6), but when I the upgrade began, after I agreed to the terms, I got a message saying that the upgrade couldn't install "because the Hard Disk doesn't meet the requirements". I am using a 6 month old 12" G4 powerbook and I have over 12 Gigs free space available. I never made any modifications to HD or the hardware and as far as softwares installed, I have appleworks 6, office, quicken, Virtual PC6 which I use to open autocad files and MS project , Mozilla, Limewire, Drumbeat (OS9), VLC, Media Player, and a few games.
