 I'm not online 24 hrs a day. lol  Disable your XP Firewall! (go to the control panel, double click on Windoze Firewall, check the disable box.) Then configure your Norton firewall using these instructions: *Configuring Norton Internet Security Norton & XP firewall don't seem to work together very well. Only one is necessary!  I suspect this may be your problem if you're only using dial up. Allow LW plenty of time to try to connect. Give it 25 or more mins. If still no connection, try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Fixes for Limewire Oh & do the port test again, the one you did above.  |
