| Connection Problems Problems getting the LimeWire or WireShare program connecting to the Gnutella network.

 NEWS FLASH - I turned on my Zone Alarm and Limewire works now. UPDATE TO POST, BELOW. I TURNED ON ZONE ALARM (BECAUSE LIMEWIRE WORKED PREVIOUSLY WHILE I RAN ZONE ALARM) AND LIMEWIRE WORKS NOW. GO FIGURE. I have tried all of your suggestions. Dumped Limewire Basic and Java 1.5. Reinstalled Java 1.5. Restarted. Reinstalled Limewire Basic. Restarted. Still, Limewire says it can't start because of Firewall problems. I also updated my network connections to allow for open Gnutella ports (6346 for UDP & TCP). I connect via Time Warner Cable's Road Runner ISP. I am running Windows XP. I use a Linksys router and am running the XP System 2 firewall as well as Norton Utilities. I tried shutting both firewalls down. I have opened ports within my router's "applications and gaming" settings. NOTHING is working. Please help.
