For those who can't connect

This totally worked. I was messing with stuff for a week after the upgrade and getting upset I could not use my limewire.

I am sick of this i have downloaded limewire 6 times in 8 days, it works for so long them simply stops what is the problem!

OMG!!! Skyliner!! You are amazing!! ahahah I have been trying to get my LW to work now for almost 7 hours!!!! And I've read almost all of the posts leading up to page 98 and NOTHING helped until your post (#1461)!!! All I did was go to the first link that you have in your sig and was planning on going through everything that is on that page but all I needed to do was just replace my gnutella.net file!!!!!! Thanks sooo much!!! And a little advice to everyone...try one of those things that is listed on Skyliners first link. Also, I know one other time when LW wasn't working for me the un-checking the tips pop up thing worked

BUT, at least on my XP machine, the above path is a bit off- for me the Limewire folder was in C:/Documents And Settings/your_username/Application Data. Sorry if this has already been noted.

I ended up deleting closing Limewire, deleting it AND the folder and re-installing Limewire. Now I'm a downloading fool! Thanks for the tip!!
