For those who can't connect

I don't have a directory, library...anything. I have been working on this all day!! I have connected in the past. Not today - I even purchased it. Limewire claims i have a firewall -- but I know I don't. Someone please help.

Not sure grumpygbp, I am aware LW has changed location for storing the LW download preferences but not sure if it is now in the preferences folder or not. See http://www.gnutellaforums.com/window...downloads.html & check to see if that has affected you. You can go to the Library window, select incomplete folder & see if the files are listed inside. If they are, then select all of them & press Resume button.

The LW preferences are now within a 'hidden' folder. So you need to turn on Show All Hidden Files & Folders under view options when in the search window of your computer.

Where do I find this directory??

It's a hidden directory. Depends which system you're using.

C:\Documents and Settings\*yourusername*\Application Data\LimeWire

Application Data folder is HIDDEN. So when you use the search function, turn on Show All Hidden Files & Folders in View options.

Having connections problems all of a sudden! HELP!!!!

In Limewire Links (below) click on (If LW will not connect) and go through these fixes -- if this doesnt work click on (system details) fill in and post back here

LW links are changed at times to match the current problems.

Didn't work for me on Windows XP either
