 It could be an ISP issue, I know Cox are know to shape p2p... Just check that the help the tech gave you are similar to this... Port Forwarding for the McAfee Security Center But you could try these fixes and see if they help... Try uninstalling your Java from the add/remove programs and then re-install the JRE offline version....(4th one down) Java SE Downloads Then uninstall Limewire using the uninstaller which is found in start > all programs > limewire...then re-install it using the offline installer... Fixes for Limewire when LW isn't operating as it should If it still won't open uninstall Java again and roll back to the JRE 5.11 using the offline installer (5th one down)....
