mickjapa108,

Followed your instructions to the letter. Removed 6 previous versions of Java. Rebooted then downloaded and reinstalled JRE 5.0.12.

Still no LW connectivity. What's next?

Try switching to Manual Port forward using port numbers between 45000 To 65000
Both Manual Port forward No, & listening port should be set at the same number
In LimeWire, GO to Tools/Options/Advanced/Firewall Config & use Manual Port forward.

Then Port forward your router,

Follow this link it will open on the page you need to PortForward your router.
Use this blue link. & don't forget to create a static IP first, as instructed , & click apply after changing each setting.

mickjapa108,

I did all you suggested - port forwarded the router and created a new static IP address. Now I can't even open Limewire let alone connect to it.

What's the next plan of attack? Why is this happening?
