hi, i downloaded limewire once and it keept saying pls buy limewire pro so i deinstalled it because it was annoting
now i downloaded it again and after i installed it its says "run limewire now" and i click on next but nuffing happens , i try to click on the limewire icon again and it wont start up
what can i do pl help

How did you uninstall limewire?
If you're doing it via Add/Remove programs then that can cause problems!!
The correct way to uninstall is Start > All programs > Limewire/Uninstaller

Use your computer's search to look for all files & folders with limewire in the name. If you can't delete them, reboot into safe mode & then try. If they still won't delete, try one of the tools here...
Incomplete Download File won't delete at all.

Now try to re-install...

Try this:-

[1] Uninstall the old version before installing the new -- delete the old LW folders from the Programs directory before installing the new version
[2] Ensure that you have java script J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 (Jre ver 5) if not download from here:-

Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11

· Uninstall Limewire by using LW uninstall program not the add/remove control panel
Start -> All Programs -> Limewire -> Uninstall

· delete old LW folder from programs directory:-
c:\programs\Limewire <--- (delete this folder)
