![]() Craig Port Forwarding is only necessary if you have a modem router (modem with a built in router) or a router. You see, routers have a built-in firewall and, in most cases, the only way a P2P app can find it's way through a router is via this "port forwarding" configuration exercise. Unfortunately, I don't know of any "Jack and Jill" type instructions or guides that can teach you about "port forwarding". All I can really suggest is that you contact your modem-router's (or router's) help desk and ask if they have any user-guides you can download on "port forwarding". Good Luck. UK Bob |
