Fire Wall blocking me from connecting

Connection Problems Problems getting the LimeWire or WireShare program connecting to the Gnutella network. (not about connecting to files, that is a Download/Upload Problems section issue.) Please supply system details as described in the forum rules.

Default Fire Wall blocking me from connecting
I have tried to connect to limewire, and there is apparently a firewall blocking me. I have followed instructions in the help menu, and have confirmed all the settings, and it still does not work. My connectivity says 1 bar. Any suggestions???

have you tried opening firewall setting on your computer? and turning them off or allowing limewire as an exception?

pse go to the bottom of my signature (Limewire links)and click on (If LW will not connect) - work yr way through these fixes - if this doesnt help try (connection problems) - you can also check out (connection troubleshooting) if yr problem still remains click on (system details) and fill in as much as you can and post them here.

Limewire links: (If LW 5 will not connect) (If LW 4 will not connect)(system details) (LW Clean Reinstallation Instructions) (setting up your firewall to accept LW)

LW links are changed at times to match the current problems.
