tried doing as you suggeted and it didnt work - all i get is the rolling 'loading messsages' and thats as far as i get - im not sure whether i am connected to the internet or not but Lime wire never gets beyond this point.

Hi kate, try this:-
This has worked for a few Vista users: Uninstall LW (start > all programs > LW > uninstall) & ZA. Now reinstall LW first. Finally, reinstall ZA. Installing LW before ZA seems to be the trick
Double check that the Windows firewall's off.

In LW file > disconnect. Wait 10 minutes, then file > connect.

have uninstalled Zone alarm and limewire then reinstalled lime wire and then zone alarm - works -

( you dont know how to fix washing machines too do you - mine blew up and flooded the kitchen today as well as no lime wire - bad day )
