connection quality help

hi,i'm new here,not sure if this is the right thread to post on so bare with me.i've been on limewire for a while now.i had a connection problem when i first got my new computer and some how i fixed it and now i cant remember how.just the other day i had to renew my subscription with webroot spy sweeper and trend micro antivirus,now i'm having a connection problem againwhen i get on limewire ,down on the bottom left-hand corner,you have a connection quality status graph,i have 1 green bar,normally when i have a good connection i will get 5 green bars.i type in a search and it wont find any results.i went into my windows firewall and made an exception for limewire ,something needs to be checked or unchecked and i dont know what.please somebody help thank you

Hi btg In Limewire Links (below) click on (If LW will not connect) and go through these fixes -- if yr problem still remains click on (system details) and fill in as much as you can and post back here

LW links are changed at times to match the current problems.

i have turned my firewall protection off,no difference.i turned it back on.i updated my java version,no difference.i disconnected,waited 5 minutes,then connected,no difference.the deal is,it shows to be connected just poor quality.i have one green bar out of five.how do i improve the quality.i've tried no sharing,no start up tips

i still can't connect, i tried disconnecting for 5 min and still says starting connection but nothing happens. last week this was happening and i thought my suscription ran out so i reordered limewire, it worked a couple times but wont now. i feel like i wasted my money because i cant even use it. please help me

Have you tried all the fixes in (If LW will not connect) replacing/deleting the gnutella.net file, deleting the preference (limewire) folder -- also pse click on and peruse the otherlinks in Limewire Links (below) -- I also asked for your system details

You should have posted this query onto yr original thread (cant connect)instead of tagging it onto someone elses -- pse in future if you have a problem just click on new thread and post. and if yr problem continues just keep posting into the same thread -- this will benefit everybody concerned -- Okay -- did you try all the fixes in (If LW will not connect) like I told you -- if not pse do -- I also asked for yr system details -- click on the link below (system details) fill in and post back here
