Hi folks,

I have always had Limewire, and I just purchased a new computer, with the Vista platform. I installed Limewire, and now nothing happens.
What I mean: is that I can enter into limewire and do a search, but I do not get any responses from the search. I tried doing:

http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ and it says my test worked...

I am not running a firewall... so I m totally stumped. Can you help?

Thanks,
FP

Ensure that Limewire is closed before doing this.
Preference Folder for XP are found here:-
c:\documents and settings\username\applications data\LimeWire <-- [delete]
(or)
c:\documents and settings\username\limewire <-- [delete]

Application Data's hidden by default, so you'll need to enable viewing of hidden files & folders to be able to see it (control panel - Tools - folder options - view - check the radio button to show hidden files & folders - apply - Ok)

For Vista the Preference Folder is found here :-
C:\Users\your username\AppData\Roaming\LimeWire <--(Preference Folder)

Go to this link (How to show hidden files in Vista)
Once you have done this restart Limewire
