um help with lw (limewire was not able to initilize and start)

Connection Problems Problems getting the LimeWire or WireShare program connecting to the Gnutella network. (not about connecting to files, that is a Download/Upload Problems section issue.) Please supply system details as described in the forum rules.

When LimeWire loads, it checks to see if LimeWire can talk to itself (ie - make loopback connections). If it can't, then a security program is likely blocking LimeWire. Check any security programs installed on your computer to make sure that LimeWire is listed as an exception. Norton's Internet Worm Protection feature has been known to cause LimeWire to produce this error.

In Limewire Links (below) click on (system details) and fill in as much as you can and post back here
