It seems that I am not the only person recently having trouble connecting to LimeWire because of a firewall.

Yesterday I was downloading music fine. Then, I started up LimeWire today and downloaded the newest version and it all of the sudden wouldn't connect because of the little brick wall in front of the globe. So, I changed my preferences on Windows FireWall - still nothing. So, I deleted the new version and went back to the old version I had and it still didn't work.

I've tried everything. I've turned firewall both on and off, still nothing. I added LimeWire to the list of programs allowed, still nothing. I've restarted my computer a thousand times and reinstalled the program a lot.

Is there just something wrong in general with limewire, or is there something I can do?

I have had the same issues. I have even tried to reconfig my firewalls on Mcafee and on Windows. I am running Vista so If anyone can provide some help it would be greatly appreciated.

im in the same position it wont let me download any songs ill type a song in the search list and it runs it but nothing comes up someone help us?
