keeps searching

hello...I'm new to this so please bare with me. I have downloaded the basic version of limewire on 3 different computers and have purchased the pro along with the basic on 1 of the 3. They downloaded fine but when we do a search it just sits therewith the lime wire symbol just spinning and never finds anything. I spent the money on the pro because I thought maybe t was the basic that was acting up. Wrong thing to do. Now I need to get my money back. Any suggestions for a fix.
