Windows XP Home Version 2003 RAM: 248MBHDD: 12GbCPU... I do have an active firewall but Limewire is on my allow list....I use wildblue satellite as my ISP and also their Anti-Virus proggie. Ive never had this problem with Limewire before but starting today my downloads have been @ 0kbps and my downloads keep saying "waiting for stable connection"..... My connection seems to be fine although the last few days they've only been @ max 8kbps........ Its really weird, Ive checked all my Limewire settings as well as my pc connection settings and nothing is fixing this problem..... Ive ran my anti-virus and spyware proggies and nothing is showing up.......I also saw another thread that was posted and it said something about deleting my limewire preferences folder @ /users/your-name/limewire, I went to go try that and I dont even have a preferences folder in my limewire folder, thats weird too......... This is driving me nuts, as u can see its 3am my time and Im racking my brain to figure this crap out. If anyone has any suggestions Id REALLY appreciate it!!!! Thx,
Misty

Hi lipzzz
you must show all hidden files like so:- Open windows explorer --> select Tools à Folder Options à View à Show hidden files and folders. In windows explorer look for the Limewire Folder – go here:- c:\documents and settings\username\applications data\limewire (or) c:\documents and settings\username\limewire Note: the preference folder is actually the limewire folder-delete the limewire folder. In Limewire Links (below) click on (If LW will not connect) and go through these fixes
