![]() Ok this problem seems to be quite popular among both Mac and Windows users however more common with Mac users than windows. I can start up Limewire just fine, dowloads will start, connection says full connection then after 2-3 minutes it will go down to medium connection, the speed of files downloading will slowly go down and then will finally disconnect and stop and the download will be (0.0) and the connection bar will say (connecting...). Occasionally it will also freeze and upon trying to exit it will not fully exit even if i use Force Quit it will still remain in the dock and i will then either have to restart my computer or Log Out and Log back in. The problem is, there are actually quite a bit of threads on this however they all recommend the same thing that does not fix the issue and never go any further to try and solve the problem. This is a very annoying and frustrating issue, I have been searching for a solution quite a while now with no success. Here are the specs: Mac OSX 10.5.8 2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 1 GB 667 Mhz DDR2 SDRAM Limewire Version (5.4.2)beta Java Version 1.6 (or whatever the latest update is) I have 30GB of space available 119 KBps Download 41 KBps Upload Currently i'm using a broadband connection but i have used others and received the same problem The "test" did work Do not share the connection I'm not hugely computer savvy but do know some things but here is what i know is not the problem/s as i have tried them just like many others and they don't work. I don't mean to be rude but please do not post a solution as one of these or suggest another P2P program:
